The Old Rectory | Terms & Conditions

A deposit of £150 will be required for Weddings and family events on confirmation of the booking. This is to be returned, together with a signed copy of the Terms and Conditions, indicating acceptance.

The Old Rectory will provide all waiting staff, supplied at current per hour rates per staff member.

On confirmation of the booking, The Old Rectory will supply a comprehensive contact list of approved caterers and subcontractors. It will be the client‘s responsibility to specify and liaise with the subcontractors (caterers, marquee suppliers, florists, photographers etc). The Old Rectory can, if desired, make recommendations and arrange for on site meetings between client and contractors.

The venue fee and staff fee, less the deposit already paid, will be due 2 weeks before the date of the Function.

In the unhappy event of cancellation, we regret that the deposit is non-refundable.

In the event of damage to the Proprietor's property, the client will be responsible for any repair costs incurred.

The Old Rectory is a non-licensed premises. All alcohol must be supplied by the client. The Old Rectory does not charge a corkage fee.

The registrar is licensed to perform marriage ceremonies at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.

The Dining Room can provide seating for a maximum of 60 guests.

The Old Rectory can provide a Bridal suite free of charge for the newly married couple on their Wedding Night. Additional guest rooms may be made available in special circumstances. These will be charged at current rates per night, and include a breakfast service.
